PAMPA (Special) - Services for Kellie Carter, 18, of Pampa will be at 10 a.m. Tuesday in Briarwood Church with the Rev. Lynn Hancock, pastor, officiating.
Graveside services will be at 2 p.m. Tuesday in Memorial Park Cemetery in Amarillo under direction of Carmichael-Whatley Funeral Directors of Pampa.
Kellie died Thursday, May 15, 1997, in Lubbock.
She was born Oct. 17, 1978, in Borger. She graduated from Pampa High School in 1996, and she was active in track and drama. She was a Red Cross volunteer. She had completed her freshman year at Texas Tech University, where she was majoring in history. She was a member of Briarwood Church.
Survivors include her mother and stepfather, Bonnie and Terry Cox of Fritch; her father, Don Carter of Pampa; her paternal grandmother and stepgrandfather, Doris M. and Virgil Eckroat of Pampa; her paternal grandfather and stepgrandmother, Vernon and Wilma Carter of Bessie, Okla.; and her maternal grandmother, Betty Langston of White Deer.
The family suggests memorials to the American Red Cross.
