MONMOUTH, April 1 (Special) - John Henry Embree, 75, died March 22 at the home of his sister Mrs. M. C. Hurley here. Funeral services were held Monday at the Henkle & Bollman chapel in Dallas. Rev. Willis Baker of the Assembly of God church, Independence, officiated. Burial was in the Dallas IOOF cemetery
Embree was born February 26, 1871, in Iowa. In 1928 he moved from Duluth, Minnesota, to Springfield, Oregon. His wife whom he married in 1932, died a few years later.
In impaired health since last winter he has made his home here with the Hurley family.
Survivors are two sisters, Mrs. Ella Erickson of Springfield; Mrs. Hurley; and two brothers: Frank of Granite Falls, Minnesota; and Even of Superior, Wisconsin.
