HEBER – Funeral services for Mrs. Phoebe Lee Murdock, 79, who died in a Salt Lake hospital Sunday night after an operation, will be conducted Thursday at 2 p.m. in the Heber First LDS ward chapel. Burial will be in Heber cemetery.
Mrs. Murdock was born September 9, 1862 in Heber, a daughter of John and Sarah Roebuck Lee and had lived there all her life. She was married February 14 1882, to Alphonzo R. Murdock Sr. He died 26 years ago.
She was a member of the LDS church, and was active in Relief society work.
Surviving are two daughters Mrs. Bertha Clyde and Mrs. Florence Tuff, and a son, Alphonzo B. Murdock Jr., all of Heber; a sister, Mrs. Rozilla Sweat of Pleasant Grove; 18 grandchildren and 25 great-grandchildren.
