Mrs. Sweat Dies At 88-Years Age
PLEASANT GROVE - Mrs. Rozilla Lee Sweat, 88, a resident of Pleasant Grove for the past 18 years, died at the home of a son, Ernest Sweat, Thursday at 4:45 a.m. of causes incident to age.
She was born March 18, 1861, in Heber City, a daughter of John and Sarah Roebuck Lee. She was married to Hyrum James Sweat in 1880 in the Salt Lake Endowment House.
They lived in Park City, until 1910, when they moved to Fruitland. Mr. Sweat died in November, 1924. For the past 18 years, Mrs. Sweat had resided with a daughter, Mrs. Pearl McMillan, and her son in Pleasant Grove.
She was active in the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, particularly in the Relief Society, for many years.
Survivors include six sons and daughters, Mrs. Matilda Johnson, Sam and Roy Sweat, Salt Lake City; Frank Sweat, Lark; Mrs. McMillan and Mr. Sweat, Pleasant Grove; 19 grandchildren 29 great-grandchildren and one great-great grandchild.
Funeral services will be conducted Saturday at 2 p.m. in Second Ward chapel. Friends may call at the Olpin Mortuary Friday evening and at the home of Mrs. McMillan Saturday prior to services. Burial will be in Heber City Cemetery.
