Virginian-Pilot (Norfolk, VA)Friday, May 17, 1996-NORFOLK - FREDDIE ABRAMSON, age 70, of the 1600 block of Longdale Drive, died Thursday, May 16, 1996, in a local hospital. He was a native of Norfolk and the widower of SELMA ABRAMSON. He was a graduate of the University of Virginia, the retired owner of Colonial Insurance Agency with over 40 years of dedicated service and a member of Temple Israel in Norfolk.
Survivors include his mother, LEAH T. ABRAMSON of Norfolk; 2 daughters, ANDEE LYNN ABRAMSON of San Francisco, CA and SUZANNE DEE ABRAMSON of Los Angeles, CA; a son, PETER M. ABRAMSON of Norfolk; 2 sisters, HELENE KLAVANS and her husband, DANIEL of Palm Beach, FL and NORMA HERZBERG of Norfolk; and numerous nieces and nephews. A grave side service will be conducted at 11:30 a.m. Friday, May 17, 1996 in Forest Lawn Cemetery by Rabbi MICHAEL E. PANITZ and Cantor YAEL FISCHMAN.
Memorial donations may be made to the American Cancer Society, 2730 Ellsmere Ave, Norfolk, Va 23513. H.D. Oliver Funeral Apts, Norfolk Chapel are handling the arrangements.
