b. KS1886 Ralph Ewing Atkisson was the son of b. KY1858 George Foree Atkisson and b. IN 1866 Emeline Esther Craven.
He was married to b. KS1887 Ada Williams Atkisson.
In 1917-18 he was a Sergeant stationed in the Signal Corps (early Air Force) stationed at Carlstrom Field, Arcadia, FL where he was an aerial photographer.
After the war he was a school and portrait photographer, (as were his father and two brothers). in Kansas City and thereabouts. After a serious heart episode in 1950 he retired and became a devoted ham radio operator, W0WMQ
