He was a member of the Lutheran church, which he attended regularly until a few years ago, when his strength failed. However, he gathered sufficient vitality to attend communion services until about a year ago. He followed farming all his life and always enjoyed excellent health.
Surviving are three daughters, Mrs. M.C. Nail, Mrs. W.B. Coltabaugh, and Mrs. J.A. Turnbaugh, all of Carson valley.
Twenty-four grandchildren and ten great-grandchildren also survive.
The funeral services will be held in the Carson valley church tomorrow afternoon at 2 o'clock.
Interment in Carson Valley cemetery.
