Catherine C. Weightman, 92, formerly of Greensburg RD2 (Brinkerton), died Saturday, Jan. 9, 1999, at Westmoreland Manor, Greensburg. She was born Oct. 26, 1906, in Everson, a daughter of the late Reuel S. and Agnes C. (Shaffer) Flack. She was a member of the First Baptist Church of Greensburg, the YOMAR Sunday School Class, the Mt. Pleasant Senior Citizens and was a 4-H leader. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Walter G. ``Bud'' Weightman; three daughters, Kathleen Hails, Annabelle Wirick and Grace Love; a son, John R. Weightman; and nine brothers and sisters. She is survived by three daughters, Mrs. A. Robert (Dorothy) Thomas of Mt. Pleasant RD1, Mrs. Harry (Barbara) Yothers of Youngwood and Elaine Sonnie of Greensburg; two sons, Edwin R. of Fremont, Calif., and Donald G. Weightman of Greensburg RD2; 35 grandchildren; 50 great-grandchildren; a brother, Charles Flack of Irwin; and many nieces and nephews. Friends will be received at the GAUT-BACHA FUNERAL HOME INC., Pleasant Unity, Monday from 3 to 5 and 7 to 9 p.m. Additional visitation will be held in the First Baptist Church of Greensburg Tuesday from 10 to 11 a.m., at which time funeral services will be held with the Rev. Dean A. Davidson officiating. Interment in Harrold Zion Lutheran Cemetery, Hempfield Township.
