Mr. Link was a son of John Booker and Elizabeth (Lawson) Link, who came to Callaway from Virginia many years ago. He was born on a farm near Wainwright and had resided in Callaway County all of his life. For a number of years he lived at Holts Summit, later moving to New Bloomfield. He and his wife celebrated their golden wedding anniverary in 1931. Mrs. Link preceded him in death in 1935.
Only two of his eight brothers brothers survive Mr. Link. They are Abner S. Link of New Bloomfield and J. Booker Link of Wainwright. He also leaves a one daughter, five sons, two grandsons and one granddaughter, besides a host of friends to mourn his passing.
