JERSEYVILLE - Henry J. Catt, 80, a retired interior decorator, died Saturday at 9:40 p.m. in Alton Memorial Hospital where he has been a patient since Oct. 8. ~ A son of the late Rev. Stephen and Mrs. Tabitha Smalley Catt, he was born May 16, 1875, in Jersey County. ~ He was a member of IOOF Lodge at Jerseyville, and of the Encampment and Rebekah Lodges, in organizations in which he held offices. ~ Surviving are his widow, Mrs. Mayme Catt; three sons, Hollis and Hubert, Jerseyville, and Harold of Albequerque, N. M; four sisters, Miss Isabelle L. Catt, Jerseyville; Mrs. Justice V. White, Decatur; Mrs. William Martin, Moline; and Mrs. Charles Jewsbury, Glendale, Calif; two brothers, Orville Catt, Alton; and Charles of Carlinville, and three grandchildren. ~ Mr. Catt was a member of First Baptist Church, Jerseyville, and pastor of the church, the Rev. C. Moman will officiate at funeral rights Tuesday at 2:30 p.m. in the church. Burial will be at Oak Grove Cemetery
