EDITOR PIONEER: Decoration day was quietly observed the band furnished sweet music.
About noon May 30 Sister Margret Tolman lovingly called "Grandma Tolman" was released from her sufferings surrounded by her children grandchildren and friends.
The last hours of her life were sublime and lovely. She talked to each of her children giving them good counsel and spoke fondly to each little child present, then requested that they sins; "Little children love the savior" and that the larger ones sing "Nearer my God To Thee". This done grandma said "I have said all that is needed" and peacefully closed her eyes.
The funeral services were held Saturday at 3 p.m. The meetinghouse had been cleaned and decorated for the occasion. Bro's Harvey Allred and Pres. Osmond were the speakers each spoke of the exemplary life and undying testimony of the gospel that sister Tolman had. The choir sang the hymn selected by the deceased. Over twenty five vehicle followed the remains to the cemetery. Bro Jensen offered the dedicatory prayer.
