Mrs. William Borchers
GERMAN VALLEY - Services for Mrs. William Borchers, 70, who died Tuesday in Deaconess hospital, Freeport, will be held at 1:30 p.m. Friday in the family home and at 2 p.m. in Silver Creek Reformed church, with the Rev. Tunis Miersma, pastor officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery.
Mrs. Borchers, the former Irene Brauer, was born Jan. 16, 1884, in Seward. She was married to William Borchers 48 years ago. She was a member of Silver Creek Reformed church and of the Dorcas society.
Surviving are her husband; two daughters, Mrs. Viola Keith and Mrs. Vera Senneff, both of Freeport; three sons, Karl, Floyd, and Herbert, all of German Valley; a sister, Mrs. Mako Wessels, Rockford, and a brother, Willie Brauer, Denver, Colo.
