Bonnie Selma Meadows Norman, 90, passed away Tuesday, March 5, 2013.
She was born in Covington County, AL to Marcus Osborne and Etta Meadows.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Clyde C. Norman; son, Charles Ray Braswell; and sisters, Mildred Parrish and Lucile Donaldson. She is survived by one sister, Clara Nell Wambles of Andalusia; her son, Jeff C. Norman (Lynn); daughter, Bonnie Hunt (Jeff) both of Montgomery, AL; grandsons, Charles Ray Braswell, Jr. (Lisa), Marcus Braswell (Dana) of Kershaw, SC; granddaughters, Cara McCoy (Randy) also of Kershaw, SC, Kay Welch (Scott), Karen Corley (Jeff), and Amy Garrigan (TJ) of Montgomery, AL; 17 Great grandchildren and 5 great-great grandchildren.
Bonnie was a member of the American Legion Auxiliary where she was State President and a member of the Eastern Star. She was a member of Eastern Hills Baptist Church and enjoyed singing in the choir.
Funeral services will be Friday, March 8, 2013 at 11 a.m. at Leak-Memory Chapel with the Rev. Larry Armstrong officiating.
Visitation will be one hour prior to the service. A graveside service will be at 2:30 p.m. in Andalusia, AL at Andalusia Memorial Cemetery.
