Franklin W. Atkins, 71, died Wednesday morning in a local hospital. Funeral services will be at 11 a.m from Foreman Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Woodrow Plant and Rev, Robert Taylor officiating. Burial will be in the Andalusia Memorial Cemetery with Foreman Funeral Home directing.
Survivors include his widow, Mrs. Audrey Atkins, four sisters, Mrs. Janie Barrington, Dozier, Mrs. Gladys Ashley, Hazelhurst, Miss; Mrs. Martha Shappelle, Greenville; Mrs. Martha Daily, Tunnel Springs; three brothers, Bythe Wood Atkins, Montgomery, Clyde Atkins, Montgomery; John Atkins, Birmingham
