Harold G. Annis Sr.
Harold G. Annis Sr., 68, of 67246 Lake Trail, Lakeville, died at 7:45 p.m. Friday in Memorial Hospital after a brief illness. He was the former co-owner of the Annis Brothers John Deere Implement Service of Lakeville. He was born on July 31, 1910, in Lakeville and had lived all of his life in the area.
On Jan. 3, 1941, in Louisville Ky., he married Ruth Hensley, who survives. Also surviving are four daughters, Mrs. Joanne Sauer and Mrs. Susie Haas, both of Lakeville, Mrs. Mary Davis of South Bend and Miss Revonda Annis at home; four sons, Harold G. Jr. of South Bend, Russell of Mishawaka, Richard of Bremen and Shawn with the Navy stationed in San Diego, Calif.; 17 grandchildren, a stepsister, Mrs. June Clauss of Lakeworth Fla.; two brothers, Louis Sr. of Lakeville and Charles of Cohasset, Minn. and a stepbrother, Frederick Kline of Miami, Fla.
Services will be at 1:30 p.m. Monday in the Palmer Funeral Home, Lakeville, with Rev. Vaughn E. Sprunger, pastor of the Community Baptist Church, officiating. Burial will be in Southlawn Cemetery. Friends may call from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home. Memorial contributions may be made to the St. Joseph County Heart Association.
