Laura Beatrice "Bea" (Foell) Martin; Bea died peacefully, at Trinity Village Care Centre, on Monday, September 29, 2008 in her 97th year. Beatrice was the beloved wife of Amos (Al) Martin who predeceased her on July 25, 1996. She was also predeceased by three brothers, Clarence Foell and wife Grace, A. Ellwood Foell and wife Doris, and Woodrow Foell. She is sadly missed by her sister-in-law, Joan Foell; brother-in-law, Oscar Martin and his wife Marie; sister-in-law, Irene Lichty; many nieces and nephews; and great-nieces and nephews. In addition, Beatrice was a very special great-great-aunt. Bea was a former employee of Bell Canada and Economical Mutual Insurance. She was also an active member of Emmanuel United Church in Waterloo. A special thank you to the staff at Trinity Village Care Centre. Your love and compassion was greatly appreciated. Relatives and friends are invited to share memories of Beatrice during visitation on Thursday, October 2, 2008 from 12-12:45 p.m. The funeral service to celebrate her life will be held in the chapel of the Erb & Good Family Funeral Home, 171 King St. S., Waterloo, on Thursday at 1 p.m. Interment will follow at Memory Gardens, Breslau. A reception will be held in the Fireside Reception Room of the funeral home. "She whom we love and lose is no longer where she was before. She is now wherever we are." Saint John Chrysostom.
