She was born July 16, 1881, in Doniphan County, Kan., and had been a resident of Topeka for the past thirty-two years. She had been employed at the Santa Fe for twenty-one years. She was a member of the Holy Name Church, the Daughter of Isabella and the Ladies’ Catholic Benevolent Association.
She is survived by three sisters, Mrs. Nellie Marks, Ogden, Kan.; Miss Mary McHugh and Miss Anna McHugh, both of the home; and a brother, Andrew McHugh, of Mayetta.
Funeral services will be held Saturday morning at 9 o’clock at the Holy Name Church, with interment in the Catholic Cemetery in Holton. The body will lie in state at Brennan Funeral Home Friday from 2 until 10 o’clock.
