He was born Oct. 3, 1877, near Whiting and operated a farm in the Corbin community near Holton 35 years. He moved to Topeka in 1942. He was a member of the Church of the Assumption. His wife, Mrs. Lelia Huston Marshall, died in 1943.
Survivors include a son, John E. Marshall of Chattanooga, Tenn.; two daughters, Mrs. George Blandin, 512 E. 8th, and Mrs. Mary L. Miller at home; four grandchildren; and a brother, Joseph Marshall of Whiting.
