GREENE Edward, 77, passed away Thursday, Jan. 18, 2001. He was born March 28, 1924, in Sassafras, KY. Edward was preceded in death by his wife: Irene, and parents: Jessie & Alcie Greene, 2 brothers and 1 sister. He is survived by his son, Stanley Greene & wife Karen of Moore; 6 grandchildren: Becky Vaughan & husband Bryan, Michael Greene & wife Lori, Laura, Tessa, Ami and Jessica; mother-in-law, Rosie Combs. He attended Reigning Life Assembly of God. He retired from the U.S. Army in 1969 and received the Army Commendation Medal. Services will be held 10:00 a.m., Tuesday, Jan. 23, at Reigning Life Assembly of God with interment at Arlington Memory Gardens.
