"Susie" passed away on Tuesday, September 23, 2008 of Cancer in the Webster Family Home in Holladay, Utah at the age of 47.


Susie was born January 19, 1961 in Murray, Utah to Joseph Astle Bailey and Beverly Hofhine Bailey (Larsen). Susie attended Midvale Elementary School and went to Hillcrest High and graduated from Cottonwood High School in 1979. Susie attended Salt Lake Community College. After receiving her cosmetology license in 1980, Susie was a popular hairstylist in several salons. The highlight of Susie's working career was her eight years of service working for Maggie Sottero Designs and then Raylia Designs, both well known international bridal gown companies. Susie was the Customer Service Manager and Human Relations Manager in both companies and her efforts were highly valued. Susie is loved by the company staff. Many others in the bridal industry looked forward to spending time with Susie at industry markets, where her professional but friendly attitude gained her great respect. Susie raised four children of whom she is very proud. All survive her; Lance Edward King, presently a Brigham Young University student after serving a two year LDS mission in Canada and recently married Linda Burton. Trevor Lee King, currently an exemplary missionary serving an LDS mission in the Guadalajara Mexico Mission. Miranda Susan King, vivacious daughter presently working as a supervisor for her employer after graduating in 2004 from Cottonwood High School. Whitney Katelyn Anderson now an outstanding student attending Cottonwood High School and serving as a student body officer, and planning on starting college in 2009.


Susie is survived by her loving and devoted husband, Larry Bruce Webster, whom she married on February 12, 2005 after a five year courtship. Also her wonderful mother, Beverly H. Larsen of Midvale, Utah and affectionate brothers and sisters, Jeffery L. Bailey, Alexander M. Bailey, Michael J. Bailey, Jannette B. McGavin, and Annette G. Millett. Susie has many life long friends, new friends and all will miss Susie's loving care and attention.


Susie is a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. She has always been active in the church. Some of her callings were Primary teacher, Sunday School teacher, Young Women's organization positions and Ward Activities Chairman. Susie loves the Gospel of Jesus Christ. Susie and Larry were sealed in the Salt Lake Temple on September 17, 2008, Susie's last wish fulfilled.


A viewing will take place on September 28, 2008 on Sunday evening from 5-7 p.m. at Jenkins-Soffe Funeral Chapel, 4760 South State Street, Murray, Utah. The Funeral Service will take place on Monday the 29th of September, 2008 at the Cottonwood 14th LDS Ward Chapel, 2080 East 5165 South, Holladay, Utah. The viewing on Monday will start at 10:30 a.m. The Funeral Services will be held at 12:00 noon,
Interment directly afterwards at Elysian Burial Gardens.
