Beverly Hofhine Bailey Larsen
Beverly Hofhine was born July 13, 1929 to Harold and Genevieve Hofhine in Murray, Utah. She married Joseph A. Bailey on June 16, 1951. Together they had six children: Michael Bailey, Jeffery (Pam) Bailey, Alexander (Karla) Bailey, Jannette Bailey, Annette (Darwin) Millet and Susan Bailey Webster. She has 17 grandchildren and 47 great-grandchildren.

Beverly is most remembered as being cheerful to the point of joyful, generous beyond her means, exuberant with boundless energy, empathetic by connecting with the heart, loving and service-oriented. She loved to sing alto and was a member of the Harmony Quintets with her sisters and mother. She was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and has a deeply spiritual and obedient soul with impeccable integrity. She lived her faith with conviction, never faltering or wavering — she walked her talk. She loved every church calling she ever had, but her favorites were probably Chorister, Relief Society President and scout leader. She was proud to wear her scouting uniform. She loved genealogy and family history and was always encouraging others to write about their experiences.

As children, we were blessed with a foundation of beauty and spiritual strength taught by a faithful mother.

Beverly is survived by her sisters Donnetta Bailey and Loa Don Glade. She is preceded in death by her parents, husbands Joseph A. Bailey and Grant Larsen, daughter Susan Bailey and sister Sherry Ann Davis.

There will be a viewing on Friday, May 29, 2020, from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at Memorial Murray Mortuary, 5850 South 900 East, Murray, Utah. A private family service will be held at 10:00 AM Saturday morning, May 30, 2020, followed by her burial at Elysian Burial Gardens.
