MARION BENNETT DEAD NEAR GOLDEN POND
End Comes To Well Know citizen At The Age Of Forty-Five Years
Mr. F. Marion BENNETT, a well known citizen of GOLDEN POND, died on Wednesday night of last week at his home a mile west of GOLDEN POND, of tuberculosis.
He had been in poor health for some time.
Mr. Bennett was forty-five years of age, and is survived by eight children, six sons and two daughters.
For a number of years he was engaged in the blacksmith business at GOLDEN POND, but in more recent years had been engaged in farming. He was a very clever man with many friends and all are made sad by reason of his untimely death. Burial took place on last Thursday at the Long Creek grave yard.
First marriage: 1911 to Maggie Oakley
Second marriage: 1913 to Ida Lamkin
