Helen Onderisin, Joliet Resident 21 Years, Dies
Mrs. Helen Onderisin, a Joliet resident for the past 21 years, died yesterday at the home of her daughter, Mrs. John Kober, 808 Hague street, after a lingering illness.
Mrs. Onderisin, a native of Czechoslovakia, had resided in America for 55 years. Her husband, Michael, died seven years ago.
Surviving are two daughters, Mrs. Kober and Mrs. Lloyd Glenn; four sons, Michael, John, George and Andrew, all of Joliet; 15 grandchildren, eight great grandchildren; three brothers, Andrew and Joseph Tonastic of Joliet and Michael of Minneapolis, and a sister in Europe.
The funeral will be held from the Trizna funeral home Monday at 8:30 a.m. to SS Cyril and Methodius church at 9 a.m. Burial will be in Mt. Calvary cemetery.
