Christian Frederic Ginther, son of Peter Ginther & Maria Catherine (Williams) Ginther. He married in Frederic, MD on Sept. 28, 1786 to Mary Barbara Frey born Oct. 9, 1769, daughter of Daniel and Catherine (Grob) Frey. They followed his father Peter to Bedford, PA and came to the Gnadenhutten OH area on Apr. 7, 1806. In 1813 they moved into Gnadenhutten. He was a potter, like his father. Christian died Mar. 1, 1828 of a stroke after he had suffered from rheumatism for seven months. He belonged to the Morvian church. His wife died in 1836.
