Rowland J. Wolcott, 76, a retired employee of the Red Bank telephone office, died Friday at the home of his brother-in-law, Jacob Strauss of 26 Elm place.
Mr. Wolcott was born in Eatontown, a son of the late Samuel and Charlotte Sheppard Wolcott. Surviving are two brothers, Herbert and Percy Wolcott, both of Red Bank. He was a member of Independent Engine company.
The funeral was held Monday afternoon, at the Mount Memorial home with Rev. W. Norman Pittenger, acting rector of Trinity church, officiating. Burial was in Greenlawn cemetery, West Long Branch.
