Sharon Lou Beard, 20, of 414 4th Ave. died at 1:10 a.m. Sunday, Dec. 5, 1982, in her home, as the result of a gunshot wound of the abdomen.
She was born Jan. 24, 1962, the daughter of Frank and Olive (Hoover) Beard.
Surviving are her mother of Altoona, her father of Linds Crossing and a son, Edward, at home. Also surviving are eight brothers and sisters: Gene of Hollidaysburg, Donald of Greenwood, Bernard of Williamsburg, Robert, Leon, Mrs. Kay Bush, Mrs. Nancy Bathurst and Mrs. Shirley Bimatre of Altoona.
Friends will be received from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Tuesday in the Donald E. Liebegott Funeral Home, Duncansville.
BEARD Services for Sharon Lou Beard of 414 4th Ave. will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday in the Donald E. Liebegott Funeral Home Inc., Duncansville,by the Rev. Emmert Frederick. Friends will be received from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Tuesday in the funeral home.
