Nine-year-old Ryan Guthrie was killed in a car crash on Interstate 295 in Falmouth on Oct. 10, 2005. Since then his family has been searching for accountability.
They were dismayed when the district attorney decided not to prosecute the driver who precipitated the crash. They sued the driver, only to learn that state law limits the damages in wrongful death cases.
