Funeral Services for Mildred Lenore Haggard have been scheduled for 10:00 AM, Wednesday, January 16, 2008 at Broken Arrow Church of Christ. Scott Keele and Herman Johnson will officiate. Burial will follow at Park Grove Cemetery in Broken Arrow under the direction of Hayhurst Funeral Home.
Mildred Lenore Haggard was born July 27, 1924 in Eldorado, Oklahoma the daughter of John Azna and Myrtle Katherine (Brooks) Lee. She died Monday, January 14, 2008 at Southcrest Hospital in Tulsa, Oklahoma. She was 83 years of age.
The former Miss Milly Lee was a 1942 graduate of Broken Arrow High School and Broken Arrow Beauty College. She was married to Troy Haggard in Broken Arrow. He preceded her in death in 1985. Milly retired from GTE telephone company after several years. She lived in Broken Arrow for most of her life. She was a volunteer for Gatesway and enjoyed sewing and quilting. She was a member of Broken Arrow Church of Christ. Memorials may be made to the Broken Arrow Church of Christ Keen Agers, 505 E. Kenosha, Broken Arrow, OK 74012.
