COOPER, Texas. --Funeral service for Z. T. Davis, 86, who died at home here early Thursday morning, was held at First Baptist church Friday afternoon by the pastor, the Rev. Loyd Lester, assisted by the Rev. J. C. McClain, Baptist minister, the Rev. Kirk M. Beard, pastor of the Methodist church, and Elmer L'Roy of the Church of Christ. Interment was in Oaklawn cemetery.

Surviving are nine children: Mrs. M. H. Berry, Mrs. F. H. Noble and Ike Davis, Cooper; Jim Davis, Dallas; Mrs. R. R. Wheeler, Haworth, Okla.; Oscar Davis, Imboden, Ark.; Mrs. Troy Fields, Tulsa, Okla., and Mrs. John Bartley, Cumby; a number of grandchildren and great-grandchildren, and two half sisters, Mrs. Nettie Goad and Mrs. Susie Puckett living in Arkansas.
