"Lowes Marie Troxel, 93, died February 18, 2005 at Shady Oaks Care Center.
Funeral services were Tuesday, February 22, at the Woodlawn Christian Church in Lake City with Reverend Carla Hillyer officiating. Burial was in the Cottonwood Cemetery, Lake City.

Lowes was born August 2, 1911 at Whiting, Iowa to parents Marion Rawls and Mabel Elmira (McClain) Alcox. She completed 8th grade. She was married to Charles G. Dunlap November 27, 1942 until his death in 1956. February 20, 1958 she married Elec L. Troxel at the Woodlawn Christian Church in Lake City. He died in 1988. Lowes spent her adult life as a farm wife, raised chickens, operated a truck garden and had an egg route. She retired in 1979. She had made her home at Shady Oaks Care Center since 1999.

She was a member of the Woodlawn Christian Church, belonging to several of the ladies groups in the church and . . . .rest of the obit didn't get copied.

Lowes was the mother of one child, Beverly June (Alcox) Vanderheiden and six grand- children and many great-grand children.
