Marion R. Alcox was called "Rollie". He married Feb. 11, 1903, Whiting, Monona Co., IA to Mable Elmira McClain, the daughter of Hezekiah King McClain & Nellie Estella (Kratz) McClain. They were the parents of seven children: Everett Alcox born & died in 1904, Erma Bernice Alcox born 1906, Glen Harold Alcox born 1908, Lowes Marie Alcox born 1911, Frank Lyle Alcox born 1915, Donna Jean Alcox born 1920 & Baby male Alcox born Apr. 19, 1922 and died May 4, 1922. Rollie was a carpenter and also was a farmer.
