Ray Mathew Williamson, 26, died Friday from injuries received in a motorcycle accident.

A native of Vidalia, he was a member of the Vidalia Tabernacle Baptist Church; a graduate of the Vidalia High School, and a graduate of North Georgia Technical School.

He was associated with Meisel Photo Corporation, of Atlanta as a finishing supervisor. He had resided in Atlanta for the past five years.

Funeral services were held Sunday afternoon from the Vidalia Tabernacle Church, with the pastor, the Rev. Jack Alderman, and the Rev. William Berryhill, officiating. Interment was in the Williamson Cemetery with Murchison Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.

Pallbearers were: Jerry Williamson, Wayne Hilton, James Williamson, Harold Pruitt, A.C. Edenfield, Michael Alexander. Honorary pallbearers were employees of the Meisel Corporation.

Survivors include his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Ben D. Williamson, of Vidalia; three brothers, Ronnie Williamson, and Donald Williamson, both of Vidalia, and Roy Williamson, of Atlanta; maternal step-grandmother, Mrs. Otha Allmond, of Vidalia, one nephew, and several aunts and uncles.
