Note: The census lists her place of birth as Iowa. She was possibly the one who completed the census. Her obituary lists her place of birth as Illinois which is where her husband was born. A family member would have written the obituary and probably knew they moved to Fairhope from Illinois so guessed the place of birth.

Mrs. Daphne B. Anderson, 87 of Fairhope died Aug. 10 in Daphne. She was a native of Chicago, Ill. Survivors include one niece Mrs. Beverly B. Jennings of Fairhope and one nephew, Ralph B., Jennings of Fairhope. The funeral was held Tuesday at Fairhope Chapel at Bayview Funeral Home. The Rev. Evelyn Seymore officiated. Burial was in Fairhope Colony Cemetery.
