Born on March 23, 1918, daughter of the late Boltrus and Anna Stravinsky, she attended Haverhill Public Schools and worked as a young woman in the local shoe industry.
For many years, Mrs. Nalezienski worked in the school lunch program for the City of Haverhill School Department at the Hannah Duston School, St. Joseph School and Haverhill High School.
She was a member of All Saints Parish of Haverhill, and was active years ago in the Haverhill Parent Teacher Association. She enjoyed dancing, playing whist and bingo and traveling.
She is survived by her husband of 67 years, Thaddeus "Ted" Nalezienski; son and daughter-in-law, John P. and Kimberly Nalezienski (Niles) of Columbus, Ohio; son, Paul J. Nalezienski of Haverhill; granddaughters, Brittany Niles and Rebecca Niles of Columbus, Ohio and several nieces and nephews.
ARRANGEMENTS: Relatives and friends may call on Sunday, Sept. 14, 2008 from 4 to 8 p.m. at Berube-Comeau Funeral Home, 47 Broadway, Haverhill. Her funeral will be held on Monday, Sept. 15, 2008 at 11 a.m. from the funeral home with a Mass of Christian burial at 12 p.m. in All Saints Church, Bellevue Avenue, Haverhill. Burial will follow in Saint Patrick's Cemetery, Haverhill. Memorial donations may be made to All Saints Parish, 120 Bellevue Ave., Haverhill, MA 01832.
