Martin A. Hull was born at St. Clairsville, Bedford county (sic), Penn., March 6th, 1852, and died at Hastings, Nebr., May 17th, 1924, age 72 years, 2 months and 11 days. He united with the Lutheran church at St. Clairsville, Penn., at the age of fifteen. He came west to Nelson during the year 1876. Was united in marriage to Nellie D. Winfough at Hastings, October 16th, 1879. They soon moved to a farm two miles east of Nora, where they resided until March 1899, when they moved to Rusnin (sic), where he has since made his home. To this union were five children, all living. They are: Myrtle Lauretsen, Ruskin; Chauncey O. Hull, Ruskin; Jennie Luedtke, Creston; Naoma Grenard, LaJunta, Colo.; LeRoy M. Hull, Washington, D.C. Besides the immediate family, he leaves to mourn three brothers and three sisters all living in Pennsylvania; also eleven grand children and one great grand child.

His wife preceded him in death seven years ago.

The funeral service was held in Ruskin Tuesday afternoon of this week, conducted by Rev. F.E. Day of Hebron.
