Annie's obituary appears in The Paris News, Paris, Texas, 30 Mar 1970 on page 2 under the headline Mrs. A. Harrington, Paris News Service, CLARKSVILLE.
Annie was the daughter of Joseph Anderson and Margaret J. Sickles. On 30 June 1904, Annie married Andrew Jackson Burns in Franklin County, Texas. Annie and A.J. had the following children: Margaret Elizabeth, Victoria Minerva, Benjamin Franklin, Eurath, Andrew Jackson (Jr.), Sallie Norma, George Robert, and James Harold.
A.J. died in 1931. Annie married to Mr. Harrington.
Annie died at age 84 in Red River County Hospital.
The obituary lists the following survivors: three sons by a former marriage: Bennie Burns, Albuquerque, N.M., Robert Burns, Lubbock, and James H. Burns, Pasadena; four daughters: Mrs. Burt Farrier, Mrs. Roy Rogers and Mrs. Euraph Babb all of Clarksville , and Mrs. S. Coleman. Annona, also 61 other descendants.
Services were held by the Rev. Jim Harris, the Rev. Claude Martin, and the Rev. Hassell Johnson, at New Haven Baptist Church north of Clarksville. Burial was in the cemetery there by Jolley's Funeral Home.
