Died, at 4:20 o'clock Friday afternoon, March 15, 1907, at the family residence, 625 North Grand avenue, west, Abien Hunter, aged 68 years, 8 months and 19 days. The funeral will be held Sunday morning. The interment will be made in Oak Ridge cemetery.
The decedent was born in Brighton, Pa., May 24, 1838. He was a soldier during the civil war, and enlisted in Co. B of the Fifth regiment of Pennsylvania artillery. He came to Illinois in 1876, settling in Springfield, where he has since resided.
He is survived by his wife, Mrs. Elizabeth Hunter, and two daughters, Mrs. J. A. Farnsworth of this city and Mrs. Clara E. Francis of Kansas City, Mo. IL State Journal, Springfield, IL 3-16-1907
