Joseph Smith Succumbs To Effects of Operation
Joseph Smith, one of the oldest residents of this vicinity, died at the University hospital in Boulder last night following an operation for relief of abdominal trouble. He followed the occupation of a miner for a number of years but for some time has lived on a farm two miles south of Lafayette.
