At Saxton on Thanksgiving day, Elizabeth, wife of Samuel Putt, died very suddenly, aged 68 years, eight months and 23 days. She is survived by her husband and the following brothers and sisters: Robert Clabaugh of Whitier, Cal., Mrs. Mary C. Pope of Smithfield, Levi Clabaugh, Mrs. Margaret Miller and Mrs. Martha Freidley, of Huntingdon. Also by the following sons and daughters: John, Harry, George, Charles and Edgar Putt, Mrs. Ada Miller and Mrs. Letitia Sanderson, of Saxton, and Mrs. Catherine Kephart of Holidaysburg, and by thirty-five grandchildren. Her funeral services, which were largely attended, were held Sunday morning and were conducted by Rev. F. W. McGuire. Mrs. Putt was well known and highly respected.
