Dr. Seymour Samuel Kunz, passed away December 10, 1981. Born April 7, 1894, Bern, Idaho to Christian and Caroline Buehler Kunz. Married Belva Sorenson, November 23, 1927, Manti LDS Temple. Prominent practicing dentist in Salt Lake City for 50 years. Former member of Bishopric in the Holladay 1st Ward and the Gunnison Ward. Mssion president, Holladay Stake. Survived by wife, Belva S. Kunz, children, Dorothy Jean Harries, Reno, Nevda; Mrs. Thorn (Claudette) Dill, David C. Kunz, both Salt Lake City; Calvin S. Kunz, Templeton, California; Mrs. Merrill (Kathryn) Barker, Sandy; also 18 grandchildren; three great-grandchildren. Preceded in death by a son, Harvey C. Kunz. Also survied by brother and two sisters, Anthon Kunz, Bern, Idaho; Lydia Barlow, Ogden; Zina Cox, Shelly, Idaho. Funeral services Monday 11:00 a.m. at Mackay Cottonwood Mortuary, 4670 Highland Drive, where friends may call Sunday 7-8 p.m. and Monday one hour prior to services. Interment: Wasatch Lawn Memorial Park. Funeral Directors: Mackay Cottonwood Mortuary."
