LOCAL MATRON DIES WEDNESDAY

Mrs. Delmar Stephens died Wednesday morning, September 11, in a local hospital following a ten day illness of heart trouble.

Celia Raymond was born in Raymond, Idaho, on February 11, 1889, and was married to Delmar Stephens of Montpelier in June, 1918. She was always an active worker in the L. D. S. Church and at the time of her death was secretary of Camp One, Daughters of Utah Pioneers.

Besides her husband, Mrs. Stephens is survived by two children, Marjorie and Frank, two sisters, Maud Heggie and Mrs. Lottie Bissegger, one brother, Tracy Heggie, and her step-father, J. S. Heggie.

Funeral services will be held Saturday afternoon at 2 o'clock in the Third ward chapel.

FUNERAL SERVICES HELD SATURDAY

The following funeral services for Mrs. Delmar Stephens were held in the Third ward chapel Saturday, with Bishop T. Emery Mumford presiding.

Song, "Oh, My Father', quartet composed of Mrs. Ed Grosjean, Mrs. William Hirschi, Lorenzo Swensen and Smith Phelps; invocation, LeGrande Stephens; tribute by Mrs. G. W. Irving, representing the Daughter of Utah Pioneers; speaker, President Sidney E. Burgoyne; solo, "In the Garden", Mrs. Grosjean; speaker, Bishop J. A. Evans; solo, "Going Home", Mrs. Melvin Stephens; speaker, President Ed C. Rich; song, "I Know That My Redeemer Lives", quartet; benediction, Bishop Clarence Wright.

Interment was in the Montpelier cemetery, and the grave was dedicated by J. H. Holmes.

The F. M. Williams Mortuary was in charge of funeral arrangements.
