Helen Gertrude (Morrison) Patterson, 93, widow of Carl I. Patterson of, Raphine, died Wednesday, September 17, 2008, at Shenandoah House, Fishersville.
She was born March 20, 1915 in Raphine, a daughter of William M. and Annie (Drawbond) Morrison.
Prior to retirement, Mrs. Patterson had worked at the Steeles Tavern Post Office.
She was a member of Mt. Carmel Presbyterian Church.
In addition to her husband, who died in 1978, and parents, she was also preceded in death by four sisters, Ruby Morrison, Carrie Earhart, Bessie Morrison, and Evelyn Elizabeth Morrison.
Family members include three sisters, Janet Budd of New York, Rose Snider of Staunton, and Gladys Morrison of Raphine; nephew, William M. Earhart; niece, Anne E. Snell; two great nephews, Michael T. Earhart and Steve Earhart; and a number of other nieces, nephews, and other family members.
