Funeral services for Reta Christine Dorman, 67, of Sweetwater, will be held at 2 p.m. Wednesday, Sept. 17, 2008, at McCoy Chapel of Memories under the direction of McCoy Funeral Home.

Dorman passed away Sept, 15, 2008, at Rolling Plains Memorial Hospital.

Dorman was born Oct. 28, 1940, in Hillsboro and married Arnold Ray Dorman June 1957, in Tahoka.

She was a member of First Baptist Church. Dorman was a licensed paramedic, certified parks and wildlife safety instructor and a housewife. She lived in Sweetwater for 47 years, living in Snyder and O'Donnell before that. Dorman was a member of the Sweetwater Rifle and Pistol Club and the Nolan County Sheriff's Posse.

Survivors include her husband, Arnold Ray Dorman of Sweetwater; one daughter Rayetta Dorman of Abilene; on son Wayne Dorman of Sweetwater; three sisters, Barbara Pierce of Tahoka and Linda McDaniel and Sonja Cleveland, both of Lake Whitney; two brothers, Ricky Arnold of Cleburne and Billy Bob Arnold of Lake Whitney; two granddaughters, Itticha Kay Taylor and Christa Ann Dorman, both of Sweetwater; two great-grandchildren, Zoe Taylor and Cameron Taylor, both of Snyder.

Dorman was preceded in death by two sons, Robby Dale Dorman and Christopher Ray Dorman; and one brother Randy Arnold.
