Mr. Hajek. died Friday, April 30, 1993 at Oakes Good Samaritan Center in Oakes, ND, having reached the age of 83.
Charles Hajek, son of Louis and Josefa (Kaiser) Hajek was born Jan. 25, 1910 in Omaha, NE where he also began his schooling. He moved with his family to the Glover, ND area where he completed his education. He then began farming in the Glover area, and was united in marriage to Cecelia Wilberts on June 9 1935, in Oakes, ND. They continued to farm in the Glover area, and later moved to a farm north of LaMoure, ND. He retired from farming in 1978 and continued living in the LaMoure area until he moved to Oakes Good Samaritan Center in 1988.
He is survived by two sons, Eugene Hajek, Gwinner, ND and Charles Hajek, Monticello, MN; one daughter, Cleone (Mrs. Clayton) Olson,, Billings, MT; one brother, Tony Hajek, Omaha, NE; and two sisters, Anna Gott and Marie Wagner, both of LaMoure.
Casket bearers were Donavon Hajek, Shannon Hajek, Jason Hajek, Curtis Hajek, Craig Hajek. Cyle Hajek, Chad Olson, Scott Christianson. and Walter Bockwoldt. Honorary casketbearers were Valerie Christianson and Cory Jaeger. Carole Wolff served as organist for the funeral and Harvey Wolff was soloist.
