Frederick Henry Jr. was the son of Frederick Henry Bahr Sr. [see memorial] and Mary C. Smith of Baltimore, MD. He was the brother of Antoinette Bahr (Coster). Fred Henry was also the grandson of Frederick John Bahr, Jr. and Fredericka Pleiss [see memorials] and the great-grandson of Frederick John Bahr and Margaret Kessler [see memorials] of Cumberland.

Fred Henry was first married to Doris Schmidt. They had one child. Doris died in 1968. He married his second his wife, Genevieve Alice Russell Jacobson, with whom he had no children (she had five children from previous marriage(s)).

Fred Henry retired from Bethlehem Steel as a roll grinder. He was a Marine veteran of WWII, and a member of the Am. Legion Post 275.

From Timonium, MD, he moved to Florida with Gen in 1985. He was a member of the First Assembly of God Church in Dunhedin and his last residence was 1730 Sutton Place.

He is survived by his daughter, Adele Sands of Arizona, and his adopted great grandnephew, Thomas Patrick Bahr of New York City. His sister Antoinette (Annette), is deceased. He is also survived by grandchildren, and Genevieve.
