Elmer Dail Forrester
Mr. Elmer Dail Forrester, 70, of Mount Olive Church Road, Morganton, passed away on Saturday, Sept. 13, 2008, at NC Baptist Hospital.
His funeral will be at 2 p.m. on Tuesday in the Warlick Funeral Home Chapel in Lincolnton with the Rev. Jimmy Miller officiating.
Burial will follow in Forest Lawn Cemetery.
The family will receive friends from 1 until 2 p.m. on Tuesday at Warlick Funeral Home prior to the service.
Mr. Forrester was born on April 18, 1938, in Ashe County, to the late Odell and Virginia Trivette Forrester.
Mr. Forrester was retired from Geymont Construction.
Survivors include his wife, Marie Parsons Forrester, of the home; one son, Kenneth Forrester and wife, Tammy, of Lincolnton; four daughters, Janet Perry and husband, Jr., of Wilkesboro; Sara Thiel and husband, Tony, of Taylorsville; Sylvia Dalton and husband, Michael, of Morganton; Robin Forrester and friend, Craig Davis, of Vale; seven sisters, Margie Williams of South Carolina, Ola Shivary of Maryland, Leona Husfelt of Florida, Barbara Lindsey and Jennie Seats, both of Pennsylvania, Ardnie Wilkins and Patty Pennington, both of West Jefferson; 16 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren.
Warlick Funeral Home in Lincolnton is serving the Forrester family.
