Frances Ardnia Wilkins Obituary

Mrs. Frances Ardnia Forrester Wilkins, age 78, of West Jefferson passed away Thursday morning, March 8, 2018 at Ashe Memorial Hospital.
Memorial services will be held on Monday at 3:00pm at Boone Family Funeral Home with Brother Ralph Smith officiating.
The family will receive friends on Monday from 2-3pm at Boone Family Funeral Home.
Mrs. Wilkins was born in Watauga County on February 13, 1940 to the late Odell and Virginia Elizabeth Trivette Forrester. She worked at Hardees as a biscuit maker. She was a loving mother, grandmother, and will be missed by all.
She is also preceded in death by two daughters, Peggy Ward and Carolyn Ward Wilson; four sisters, Margie Williams, Leonia Husfelt, Ola Shivery, and Virgie Moretz; two brothers, Dale Forrester and Carl Forrester.
Mrs. Wilkins is survived by: six sons, Michael Permenter of Maryland, Randall Permenter of South Carolina, Warren Permenter of Maryland, Gary Permenter of Maryland, Jeff Ward, and wife, Tanya, of Daytona, Florida and Darrell Wilkins and wife, Sarah, of West Jefferson; three sisters, Patricia Pennington of West Jefferson, Jenny Seatz of Pennsylvania and Barbara Lindsey of Pennsylvania; ten grandchildren; several nieces and nephews also survive.
