Mrs. Virgie Elmore, 54 of 120 N Peniel, Bethany, died at her home late Tuesday of a heart attack. Services will be at 2:30 Wednesday in the First Baptist Church, Bethany, under direction of the Merrit Funeral Home, with burial in Milltown, Ark.
A native of Whiteoak Township, Ark., she had lived in Bethany since 1947. She was a member of the Methodist Church. Her husband, Lee Elmore, is an employee of the American Iron & Machine Works.
In addition to her husband, she is survived by four daughters, Mrs. Hazel Collins and Mrs. Lillian Beals, both of the home; Mrs. Leatrice Mayo, 1633 NW 4; and Mrs. Lillie Mayo, Route 3; four sons Richard Elmore, 121 N. Peniel, Bethany; Archie Elmore, Greenwood, Ark.; Luther Elmore, Mansfield, Ark., and Ezra Elmore, Wichita, Kan.; two brothers, W.M. Stallings, Houston; and Jimmy Ford, Fort Smith, Ark. and 14 grandchildren.
