In 1920 Cload, Harvey and their family moved to Peyton, CO., where for the next nine years they raised livestock and farmed. In 1929, they moved to an old hotel in Peyton where they beautified the the old place and rented rooms to Railroaders.
Cload passed away in a rest home at Colorado Springs, CO. She is survived by four daughters; Mrs. Gladys Miller, Mrs. Eva Roberts, Mrs. Eulavee Taylor, and Mrs. Marie Breitling; five sons; Galen, Cecil, Ray, Delbert and Edgar; 20 grandchildren and 20 great grandchildren. Also surviving are two sisters and one brother.
