My Mother was always a great inspiration to me. She was the daughter of Marie F. (Waller) Dimmitt and the late Henry C. Dimmitt Jr. and was born in Indianapolis, Indiana, on June 27, 1942.

She graduated from Arsenal Technical High School in 1959. During that time she participated in many social events as a member of the Hi-Fi Club. She also attended Herron School of Art.

She worked at RCA for several years and thereafter as a nursing assistant at Methodist Hospital. She went on to work at Eli Lilly for several years and finally as a private nursing assistant.

She was a loving Daughter, Sister, Mother, Aunt and Grandmother who was very creative as she enjoyed various art activities as a hobby. There's not a day that go's by that I don't think about her and she will alway's be with me in my heart.

She departed this life October 21, 1992 at The St. Vincent Hospital. She is survived by 2 daughters; Kimberly A. (Sears) Rowe, and Stacey M. (Sears) Paicely, son; (me)Derric Deon, mother; Marie F. (Waller) Dimmitt, sister; Patricia A. (Dimmitt) Ray, 3 grandchildren and a host of relatives and friends.

My Mother was laid to eternal rest at New Crown Cemetery.
